For those of you who may be encountering BSOD (blue screen of death) while your VertexHUB is plugged in, this is due to the unstable driver that windows has automatically installed upon plugging the hub into the computer.

Solution: Simply roll back the driver or uninstall current driver to a stable version :


1. Go to Device Manager < Universal Serial Bus Controllers < ASMedia XHCI 1.1 Controller > Right click Uninstall Device.

2. Download ASMedia Driver

3. Open driver file, and install Setup.exe

4. Confirm you are running the proper driver version.
